1. - When te customer awards Ohtime with any given translation there are no extra costs for the layout control, as far as the document is intended for the screen (most projects fall into this scenario.)

A: Will Ohtime translate our website?
Unfortunately, Ohtime will not translate the customer's website unless we receive the files separately. We cannot login into your website because of security issues. However, having said this, we work on any translatable file type and the html code or any meta-language will be alwasys fully preserved.
A: Our project includes different files and target languages. Will Ohtime manage a complex multilanguage project in various formats and deadline requirements?
Yes, Ohtime is used to manage large multilanguage projects, including layout management and edition. Multiple formats over unlimited number of files. Cloud support 24x7, Dedicated project management, TM maintainance, and Quality Control. End-to-End solutions, all included.
A: We need to adapt the translation to different markets. Will Ohtime manage localization issues, for instance: cultural matters, currencies, technicall standards, local brand names, etc?
Yes, whenever a localization subject arises, Ohtime will localize and will suggest the right pattern to follow in any given setting. This includes any cultural issues, currencies, technical standards, units, brand names, even survey adaptations if needed.
A: I'm a writter and I know that translating into the target language will not be good enough. I need support with transcreation. Does Ohtime give that kind of support?"Transcreation is a concept describing the process of adapting a message from one language to another. When successfully, the message will evoke in the target language the same "emotions" and "implications" as it does in the source language, but using the local wording and environment."
Ohtime offers its transcreation service for free when instructed. Unfortunately, only into Brazilian Portuguese. When other local transcreation services are needed, we need to hire external resources at a separate rate. If this is your case, please Contact Us.
A: I'm a returning customer, and I would like to order a new translation. It looks like the new translation has a common wording with the one we did in the past. How does it work?
Each and all of your projects are on records on what we call a Translation Memory (TM). A Translation Memory is a client specific file. If your new project shares a common wording with any previous job, that is on records and plays an important role when pricing. Sometimes, when small updates are needed, the returning customer gets the new translation for free, depending on the job needed on our side. There are specific tools to evaluate your texts and take advantage of repeated or existing contents. It is worth mentioning that TMs are not shared with other customers. A: Can I have partial deliveries along the project?
Yes, you can have as many partial deliveries as needed. We just need to work together on that schedule.
A: Does Ohtime have any specific Quality Control in place?
Yes, Ohtime runs a number of Quality Controls before delivering, like proofreading by a second linguist, and other tools and procedures. Most controls are for free, included on your quote.
There are however, other Quality Controls which we need to charge separately. Sometimes they are specific and depend on the given job, and sometimes they are not.For instance, if the project itself consists just in a Quality Control step to control translations from outside Ohtime, then we need to charge it separately.Please feel free to Ask for a Free Quote.
A: Is there any extra cost for having the job proofread by a second independent linguist?
No, the second linguist proofreading cost is already included in your job.
A: Does Ohtime give cloud support?
Yes, all customers receive free cloud support. Dedicated folders for easy communication and backup of current projects. These folders are only shared with the people designated by the client, and all contents will be maintained during 60 days in your cloud folders.
After 60 days they will be deleted (although still maintained on our system during 2 years.)
A: How do I pay for the services?
We accept bank deposits, wire transfers and Paypal.
A: I have already received the translation, and we have already paid for the services. However, we need to do some small updates. Which is the cost for that job? And which should be the cost for a more relevant update/edition?
